Hi I'm Una,
Welcome to Finding Your Wings. I’m Una Curran, and this well-being programme is a heartfelt blend of my many years of teaching in the UK and Ireland and my journey as a mother to three wonderful, unique children.
My experiences have taught me that true well-being comes from embracing our authentic selves and having the tools to navigate life’s challenges.
I use a holistic approach that combines mindfulness, movement, and creative arts to empower both children and adults. My sessions are all about meeting people where they are, whether it’s through fun breathing exercises, yoga, or emotional literacy activities. I believe in creating nurturing spaces where we can feel safe, connected, and free to just be.
Inspired by the idea that we are “human beings, not human doings,” I’m dedicated to helping you find calm and connection, so you can thrive in your own unique way.

Schools & Organisations I've Worked With
"I believe in making well-being an interactive, sensory-based experience.
Whether it’s through mindfulness, visual learning, or movement, my methods are tailored to meet the needs of today’s children and adults."

How my Services Help my Clients
I come from a background rooted in education, having worked as a primary school teacher in London, supported children with social and emotional needs in Dublin, and offered one-on-one and group sessions at my Well-being Studio in Ratoath.
My services extend to community groups, including Autism social groups and Down Syndrome Ireland’s Louth Meath branch. My eldest daughter is Autistic, and through our family’s experiences, I have had the privilege of being part of projects with Little Seeds Arch Club, As I Am, and even collaborating with the team at the Ombudsman for Children. I have also facilitated family-friendly, interactive well-being workshops at outdoor festivals and in libraries across Ireland.
The heart of my work lies in meeting people where they are and providing practical, compassionate support that empowers them. I combine mindfulness, movement, and creative arts to help children and families connect to their inner strengths and build resilience.

My Ethos and Values
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel valued and accepted for who they truly are. I’m passionate about helping people discover their own unique way of learning and being. My approach is rooted in the idea that true education engages both the mind and the heart. As Aristotle said, "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."
I value connection, empathy, and authenticity, and I believe in creating safe spaces where people can express themselves and grow. My work focuses on holistic well-being, honouring each individual’s journey, and fostering a sense of belonging that allows us to flourish together.
